The 9060 is the new expression of the refined style and innovative design that made the 99X series feature the most iconic models in New Balance's history. The 9060 reinterprets familiar elements from the classic 99X models, with an oblique sensibility inspired by the proudly futuristic aesthetic and the visibly technological look of the Y2K era. The scrolling bars, taken from the 990, are expanded and used throughout the upper for a feeling of visible movement, while the wavy lines and scaled proportions on a sculpted midsole place an exaggerated emphasis on the familiar ABZORB and SBS cushioning platforms.
