The Premium Authentic 44 pays homage to the iconic Style 44 from the '70s, a model that became legendary among skaters for its extraordinary durability and grip. This version carefully reimagines artisanal details from the archive, such as the signature heel stripe with exposed stitching and higher sidewalls with a glossy finish, echoing the aesthetic of the original designs.
The upper is crafted from 8.5-ounce screen-printed canvas with the iconic checkerboard print, complemented by a refined full-grain leather collar lining and '90s-inspired Osnaburg reinforcement tape. Despite the throwback look, comfort is updated thanks to the Sola Foam All-Day Comfort insole, designed with bio-based materials to provide all-day anti-fatigue support.
